I educated students for over 25 years and in that time I was honored in 2014 in being voted the Elementary Teacher of the Year for Madison City Schools. The same passion I had for teaching led me to another passion of guiding and educating clients in buying and selling their homes. I fiercely advocated for my students and now I am advocating for my clients in the buying or selling process. I am detail oriented and my organizational and communication skills will make choosing “JOY” the perfect realtor for you.
I have been married for over 33 years. My husband is an Engineering Director and I have two daughters. My oldest is married and has her masters in Biology with an emphasis in herpetology, (study of reptiles and amphibians), so I can share with you information on all the creatures you may encounter while on the water or by land! My youngest is finishing up her last year studying Industrial/Systems Engineering. We also have a sweet boxer/lab mix who loves to explore with us.
In 2018, my family bought our own slice of heaven on Smith Lake and have made many fun memories with our family and friends! With ownership, I have learned many do’s and don’ts that I can share and support you to find your latitude. All of this gives me insight to the people and community on lake living at its best! I am looking forward to sharing that with my clients!
